Website and Service Terms
Free tools. The tools provide preliminary checks and comparisons using data you enter. RFQ checking uses explicit rules and keyword signals; it does not read engineering drawings or verify their contents. A warning-free result is not a statement that an RFQ is complete, safe or manufacturable. Quote comparisons depend on currency, units, quantities and the terms you supply. Human review is required before relying on outputs.
Permitted use. Use the tools for lawful purposes with data you are entitled to use. Do not attempt to disrupt the site or access other users' information. Do not submit export-controlled, restricted or regulated technical information to us through email or a paid project without first agreeing a lawful access arrangement. Local use of the free tool does not itself send inputs to the provider.
Ownership. You keep ownership of your inputs. The website, original tool code and branding belong to their respective owners. You may use and download outputs for your legitimate business purposes. Rights in custom project deliverables are determined by the signed Services Agreement and SOW, not these website terms.
Custom services. A contact request is not a project order. Scope, data handling, price, payment milestones, delivery and acceptance must be agreed in writing. We do not promise a quotation, cost saving, engineering outcome or response deadline merely because you contact us. A signed project agreement takes precedence for that project.
Reliability and liability. Free tools are supplied as available, without a guarantee of accuracy, uninterrupted operation or fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent allowed by applicable law, we are not responsible for losses caused by relying on preliminary outputs without appropriate review. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Paid-project warranties and liability limits must be agreed in the signed contract.
Refunds and acceptance for projects. Unless a signed SOW specifies a different arrangement, the proposed pilot process is 40% at kickoff and 60% after express written acceptance. Before work starts, a cancellation receives a full refund of amounts paid. After work starts, documented completed work and preapproved nonrecoverable costs are reconciled against payments, and any unearned balance is refunded. Material failures are given a correction period before termination. No project is accepted merely because a client is silent. The signed SOW contains the controlling tests and deadlines.
Changes and questions. New website terms apply prospectively when published. Material project terms are changed only by written agreement. We try to resolve complaints through discussion; the signed project agreement identifies the governing law and forum for paid work. Mandatory rights under applicable law remain unaffected.
