Frequently asked questions

Does EasyTility upload my photo?

No. The file is decoded and re-encoded locally by your browser. It is not sent to EasyTility.

What metadata is removed?

The output is created from image pixels on a blank browser canvas. EXIF, GPS location, camera details, thumbnails and text comments from the source file are not copied into the new file.

Will it keep transparency?

PNG and WebP outputs keep transparency. JPG cannot store transparency, so transparent areas are filled white.

Will the result always be under my KB limit?

For JPG and WebP, the tool tries several quality levels and, when needed, smaller dimensions. Very small targets may not be possible without heavy quality loss; the finished size is always shown before download.
